Excitement! Just west of Gallop, New Mexico, our first look at BNSF 7695 which is an experimental paint scheme (yellow speed lettering). I had known that BNSF was toying with an experimental paint scheme so we were on the lookout for the new units, and were of course thrilled to be able to photograph the engine (which will follow over the next several shots) for quite a ways. We were able to follow the train all the way to Winslow, Arizona before we gave up the chase.
