CSX engine #4617 was a local survivor. Still in Chesapeake & Ohio Railway paint, this SD40 was the very last C&O painted engine on the CSX roster. This engine served as the hump engine at the Cumberland yard for many years in the early 1990's. During the blizzard of '93, the engine continues to serve as it was built. Few trains are running in Cumberland during the blizzard, however some switching must still be done to hold all of the trains in Cumberland being held by the massive storm.
