1992, July, R137, the 2nd morning Trailer Jet is headed up the grade right behind R135. Note the B&O style position lights. Helpers were normally put on the rear of the trains, but today both Trailer Jets received helpers on the front end instead. The SD50's were often used in helper service, and being new engines upon the formation of CSX, received priority spots in the paint booth. The Seaboard System colors would not last much longer on this engine, being replaced by the "Bright Future" Blue, Gray and Yellow of CSX.
